Introducing HealthWell Physical Therapy Group Team Members.
Mindy Marantz, PT, MS, GCFP
Mindy received her Masters degree in Physical Therapy from Columbia University after earning her undergraduate degree from UC Santa Cruz. Mindy was formerly the Chief of Rehab at French Hospital in San Francisco, and sat on the Board of Directors for both the National Pain Foundation, and the French-American Foundation for Medical Research and Education. She also wrote research documents and white papers for a start-up cine-MRI manufacturer in Silicon Valley.
Clinically, Mindy now focuses on Functional Orthopedics and Manual Therapy where she can utilize her broad set of advanced skills. She is certified in the Feldenkrais Method of Movement Re-education and integrates that into retraining patients with motor learning, proprioception and balance challenges. For the past ten years, she has studied Fascia through the Barral Institute, focusing on how both visceral, neural, and mechanical problems are related to fascial adhesions and disruptions. Craniosacral Therapy is part of the treatment tools she utilizes.
Mindy is recognized for her expertise in Hypermobility Syndrome and Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Connective tissue disorders and their co-morbidities such as cranio-cervical instability require both academic knowledge, as well as thinking through and understanding how to carefully construct treatment programs which do not result in more injury. Mindy has succeeded in creating this environment for Healthwell patients. Formerly a competitive golfer and equestrian. she now enjoys hiking, gardening, and hobby winemaking in Healdsburg, California, where she also sees patients.
We are committed to getting optimum results for every patient.
