Women’s health includes an understanding of how hormones influence the system, and what happens to strength and sexual comfort when those hormone levels change.
Both men and women can experience frequency of urination or urination urgency without being able to eliminate. This can be related to fascia restrictions or muscle atrophy, both of which can be addressed through skilled physical therapy. The pelvic floor is the seat of the largest bones in our body, the largest muscles, and it is the heart of sexual activity. Pelvic floor specialists work towards improved balance and pain relief.
HealthWell can assist you before or after you’ve seen a medical doctor. If you have a doctor’s prescription, please bring that with you on your first appointment. If you don’t have a physician and need a referral to someone who can best address your issue, feel free to make an appointment with us and we can refer you to a physician. Be sure to arrive 15 minutes earlier on your first appointment, print and bring your completed patient forms, your insurance information, and wear comfortable, loose clothing.
