Megan Dalmacio, DPT

Megan earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Pacific University in Hillsboro, OR and her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Pre-Health Professions from Creighton University in Omaha, NE. While at Creighton, Megan learned the value of Cura personalis, the care for all aspects of a person’s health including physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing. She believes in incorporating this value into her treatment and strives to be intentional when practicing physical therapy in order to meet patients where they are and help them achieve their goals. She utilizes manual therapy techniques, such as myofascial release, friction massage, trigger point massage, and functional joint mobilizations, as well as exercise prescription and patient education/lifestyle adjustments in order to maximize function and improve the well-being of her patients. Born and raised in Hawaii, in a diverse and welcoming population similar to that of San Francisco, Megan has had the opportunity to work with and appreciate people from many different cultures and backgrounds and strives to bring the aloha spirit during every patient interaction. She has experience treating a variety of orthopedic conditions, as well as experience with vestibular and balance training and geriatric and pediatric populations. When not in clinic, Megan enjoys exploring new areas of the city, painting, testing new recipes in the kitchen, and traveling back home to Hawaii to soak up the sun.
