Karen Forsman, MPT, Stott Pilates
Karen obtained her Masters of Physical Therapy degree from the University of British Columbia. Prior to that she completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University. Since graduating Karen has worked in outpatient orthopedics settings, specializing in manual therapy and exercise rehab. She has completed her Stott Pilates training, and has been pursuing advanced certification in manual therapy. Karen enjoys working with a variety of patient populations, including those with orthopedic and sport injuries, as well as overuse and workplace injuries. Karen is a strong proponent of exercise as a part of rehab, and incorporates functional exercises into her treatment sessions. A former competitive triathlete, Karen now enjoys training for running events, swimming and biking in a more casual manner, singing and bike touring.
