Customized Pilates for chronic pain, joint instability, and post-rehab maintenance — led by a specialist who understands hypermobility.
At Healthwell, Pilates isn't a group fitness trend — it's a clinical tool. Our therapeutic Pilates program is designed for patients who need something more precise than a gym class, and more movement-focused than traditional PT alone.
Every session is one-on-one, on reformer equipment, and tailored to your body's specific needs. Whether you're managing chronic pain, rebuilding after surgery, or learning to stabilize hypermobile joints, we'll meet you exactly where you are.
Most Pilates instructors — even great ones — aren't trained to work with complex medical conditions. At Healthwell, your Pilates sessions are guided by a therapist who understands anatomy at a clinical level, knows how connective tissue conditions affect movement, and can modify exercises in real time based on how your body is responding.
This is especially important for patients with EDS or hypermobility, where well-intentioned exercises can actually cause harm if not properly adapted.
Sessions are 1-on-1 on reformer equipment. Your first visit includes an assessment of your movement patterns, goals, and any conditions we need to work around. From there, we build a progressive program that evolves as you get stronger.
The pace is always yours. We never push past your comfort, and we always explain the "why" behind every exercise.
